We have been in the centre of Chorley, on the junction of Market Street and Chapel Street, since opening in September 2005 as a Kip McGrath Education Centre franchise.
Specialising in providing tutoring in READING, SPELLING, ENGLISH and MATHS for children aged 5 upwards - for those who need extra help at school, as well as for those who want to enhance their work even further - we have grown through recommendations of both parents and local schools.
Between April 2007 and July 2011, we gave 12 Chorley primary schools a scholarship, enabling one pupil to a full terms FREE weekly tuition in English or maths.
On 24th August 2011, we ceased operating as a KMEC franchise, to become Eureka Tuition. Since then we have given a scholarship to 3 more Chorley primary schools and to 2 Leyland primary schools.
About Eureka Tuition's owner
Hilary Pepper has 25 years teaching experience in Stoke, Preston, Chorley and Bolton. In addition to her teaching qualifications, she has a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Education. For the last 10 years of her school career, she held a teaching and management post.
"Having taught for 25 years, I understand how difficult it is, sometimes with a class of 20+ children, to give every child, whatever their ability, the attention they deserve. My aim is to support local schools' development of each child's potential in literacy and numeracy."
